Leave a legacy for future generations
Donate to a charity in your Will which empowers the communities of Oxfordshire and benefit from our Wills services for free.
Why leave to a charity?
A gift to a charity in your Will is exempt from IHT, hence the whole amount you leave to us will be available to help future generations.
IHT is charged at a reduced rate of 36% on anything above £325,000, provided you leave at least 10% of the net value of your estate to charity.
A charitable gift in your Will can also be a more tax efficient means of leaving your legacy. Inheritance tax (IHT) is charged at a standard rate of 40% on the value of any estate over £325,000.
A legacy donation in your Will is a memorable way of remembering and benefiting a cause close to your heart.
However, there are exclusions and exemptions available; one such example is gifts to charities.
We are very proud to say that we work closely with Oxford United in the Community ('OUitC) - Oxford United's official charity.
Any legacy to OUitC would be gratefully welcomed, as it would allow them to further their vision of improving the lives of the people of Oxfordshire using the power of football.
OUitC is a stalwart of the Oxfordshire communities, working collaboratively with local and county-wide delivery partners to achieve its objectives.
OUitC uses the power of football to inspire the people and communities of Oxfordshire to have positive aspirations for their futures and the health, wellbeing, self-confidence, opportunities and resources to achieve them.
We value and respect the work of OUitC and to show our gratitude, we offer our Wills services to you entirely for free, when you leave a legacy of any value to OUitC.
How will my donation be used?
OUitC's new strategy focuses on working to support all of the community across Oxfordshire “aged from 2 to 92” with a more “place-based” approach.
OUitC offer a range of social impact programmes targeted at certain groups and will be adding to these over the coming years.
OUitC offers courses which help inspire youngsters to improve their health and wellbeing, along with their technical ability of playing football.
OUitC hosts events for the benefit of local business and individuals.
OUitC exists to achieve a positive impact in the community and in the lives of those that access its services.
Help empower the future generations of Oxfordshire
The team at OUitC strive to achieve a greater level of positive community impact and to be operationally present in as much of Oxfordshire as possible.
If you would like to be a part of this meaningful and public-spirited quest, and receive a free Will in return, then please let us know when telling us your testamentary wishes.
